Terms and Conditions

All bookings at the Old Rectory Guest House are subject to the below terms and conditions:

  • No pets
  • No smoking in the guest house or rooms 4 and 5 – £200 cleaning fee applies
  • Vehicles and their contents are parked entirely at owner’s risk
  • All damage to guest house property, including bedding- towels and carpets, however caused must be paid for
  • Lost keys – new locks and replacement key will be required
  • Deposits – all deposits will be charged even if booking is cancelled
  • Full stay will be charged for no – shows
  • Inappropriate behaviour – guests will be asked to leave for causing distress to other guests or staff and the room will still be charged
  • Registration- all guests must be registered to comply with fire regulations
  • Normal checking in time 2:30pm
  • Normal checking out time 10:00am
  • We reserve the right to charge your card for a deposit and any damage / keys smoking even if discovered after you have checked out

  • “Beautiful breakfast, served in a lovely new conservatory. The house is listed so some of the wood work and doors look old and the floor boards creak a lot, but it added to the charm. Perfect location for events at Staveley Hall, less than 1 minute walk away. It had all imaginable facilities in the room, toothbushes, hot chocolate, fresh cooled water, trays for dirty shoes etc etc. The furniture in the rooms were very impressive and turns out the owner had made it.”
